NFL playoff picture for Week 15
AFC

1. Denver Broncos 12-2 (first place, AFC West)
The Broncos lead the Patriots for No. 1 by a full game and conference-record tiebreaker (7-2 vs. 6-3) after winning a tough interconference game over the Packers at home on Sunday. They also still lead the division by two games over the Chargers, whom they play again at home in Week 18.
2. New England Patriots 11-3 (first place, AFC East)
The Patriots, in addition to falling behind the Broncos, failed to clinch the division title by losing at home to Buffalo. Their division lead is now down to one game and the division record tiebreaker (3-1 vs. 3-2) over the Bills.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars 10-4 (first place, AFC South)
The Jaguars beat the Jets to remain a full game ahead of the second-place Texans, who also won in Week 15. The Texans for now hold the division record tiebreaker (4-1 vs. 3-1) should that come into play later.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers 7-6 (first place, AFC North)
The Steelers are up a half-game and head-to-head tiebreaker on the Ravens after beating that team in Week 14. They will try to keep pace with the Ravens, who beat the eliminated Bengals, by beating the Dolphins on Monday night.
5. Los Angeles Chargers 10-4 (second place, AFC West)
The Chargers stayed ahead of the Bills with their road win over the Chiefs as they still hold the conference-record tiebreaker for the top wild card (8-2 vs. 7-3).
6. Buffalo Bills 10-4 (second place, AFC East)
The Bills are down a game and a tiebreaker to the Patriots with only three games left to play. They won to keep pace with the winning Chargers and Texans.
7. Houston Texans 9-5 (second place, AFC South)
The Texans have rallied from 0-3 to go 8-2 since and stay a game behind the Jaguars in the division race. They are ahead of the third-place Colts for this third wild-card spot by a half-game.
Who's in the hunt?
8. Indianapolis Colts (8-6)
9. Baltimore Ravens (7-7)
10. Miami Dolphins (6-7)
The Colts are the team to watch in the wild-card race but it will be tough minus Daniel Jones after losing to the Seahawks. The Ravens will somehow need to pass the Steelers with the division being the only playoff path. The Dolphins would be eliminated if they lose to the Steelers on Monday night.
Who's out?
13. Kansas City Chiefs (6-8)
14. Cincinnati Bengals (4-10)
15. New York Jets (3-11)
14. Cleveland Browns (3-11)
15. Tennessee Titans (2-11)
16. Las Vegas Raiders (2-12)
All six of these teams have been eliminated, with the Chiefs and Bengals being the last members to join the club in Week 15.

NFC

1. Los Angeles Rams 11-3 (first place, NFC West)
The Rams, after beating the Lions, lead the NFC North-leading Bears by a full game for this top spot that comes with home-field advantage and a first-round bye. They still lead the division by a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Seahawks and a full game over the 49ers, who both also won in the late window on Sunday.
2. Chicago Bears 10-4 (first place, NFC North)
The Bears had a great Week 15 after beating the Browns at home as both the now second-place Packers and third-place Lions lost late to give them the edge in the division again. The Bears lead by the Packers by a half-game and the Lions by two games with three left to play.
3. Philadelphia Eagles 9-5 (first place, NFC East)
The Eagles lead the division by 2.5 games over the Cowboys after beating the Raiders at home to end a three-game losing streak on Sunday. They are two games back of the No. 1. They have the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Rams but they lose the head-to-head tiebreaker to the Bears.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-7 (first place, NFC South)
The Buccaneers lost to the Falcons to drop to .500 on Thursday night and into second place, only to see the Panthers lose to the Saints to also drop to .500 on Sunday. The Bucs again lead the Panthers by the common-games tiebreaker ahead of the teams playing for the first time in Week 16.
5. Seattle Seahawks 11-3 (second place, NFC West)
The Seahawks kept pace with the Rams by edging the Colts in Week 15. They remain a full game ahead of the third-place 49ers, who beat the Titans.
6. San Francisco 49ers 10-4 (third place, NFC West)
The 49ers beat the Titans on Sunday to keep pace with the Rams and Seahawks, hoping they can still make up ground and take the division by Week 18.
2. Green Bay Packers 9-4-1 (second place, NFC North)
The Packers' loss to the Broncos dropped them out of the division lead and all the way down to the last wild-card spot. They still lead the Lions by 1.5 games plus the head-to-head tiebreaker from the season sweep.

12. Atlanta Falcons 5-9
13. New Orleans Saints 4-10
