What are Buffies in Brawl Stars? 

Brawl Stars underwent a brief maintenance break to incorporate the content of Update 65. It brought tons of changes to the game, as well as some fresh content that players had never seen before. One of the most exciting features of this patch is Buffies.

According to the in-game description, Buffies were once collectible keychains sold in gift shops all over Starr Park. They were out of supply for a while until R-T recently discovered a mammoth amount of Buffies stowed in an underground warehouse. Hence, their supply around the Park is again skyrocketing.

Brawl Stars Update 65: What are Buffies?

As their name suggests, Buffies boost the power, abilities, gadgets, Hypercharges, and Star Powers of Brawlers. With Update 65, many Brawlers have received Buffies, including Colt, Shelly, Spike, Mortis, Frank, and Emz.

Each of these Brawlers has three Buffies: Gadget Buffie, Super Buffie, and Hyper Buffie. Once acquired, it permanently boosts Star Powers and Gadgets of the Brawlers it is applied to. Furthermore, all Buffies can be equipped simultaneously to stack their effect.

How to get Buffies in Brawl Stars

Buffies are obtained from the newly stocked Starr Park Claw Machine. Here is some information to know before purchasing a Buffie:

• Buffies are unlocked at 1,000 Trophies. After you reach this stage, you receive a Buffie for free.
• Buffies cost 1,000 Coins and 2,000 Power Points from the Claw Machine.
• A Claw Machine grab guarantees a Buffie. Note that there are a total of 18 Buffies introduced with Update 65. Furthermore, there's Bling Buffies, a rare cosmetic-only Buffie skin available only to those who have all 18 Buffies.
• Buffies can also be purchased directly with Gems. Gadget Buffies cost 149 Gems, Star Buffies cost 179 Gems, and Hyper Buffies cost 199 Gems.
