Maisie Boesiger's parents, Christina and Chris Boesiger, made their feelings known about their daughter's final Nebraska volleyball match. The player's career in Lincoln came to an end after the team was eliminated from the 2025 NCAA volleyball championships.

Boesiger and her team's latest appearance on the court was on December 14 during the regional finals. The Huskers squared off against Texas A&M, where the latter dominated the match, claiming a 3-2 win and advancing to the finals. With this loss, the Nebraska volleyball team's 2025 season came to an end.

Ahead of this clash, Boesiger's parents sat for a conversation with Huurdat Sports, where they were asked about their daughter's journey. Her mother, Christina, was asked about how proud she is of her daughter's career at Nebraska. Replying to this, she said:

"I am so proud of her. She is just as joyful as you know people see her as and she hasn't had an easy road. I would say but she has embraced every moment of it and has always put the team first and just has so much love and joy for the game and so I don't know we can ask for anything else," said Maisie Boesiger's mother.

Her father was further asked about how he feels about his daughter being a great teammate and how proud he is of the woman she has grown into.

"Yeah, we couldn't be more proud, I mean, she's got a very strong faith and she loves her teammates and her coaches and she loves Husker Nation and yeah, we couldn't be more thankful for this opportunity and can't wait to see what this team does here today and next week," her father said.

Maisie Boesiger opened up about representing her team in her NCAA career after an emotional final home match

After competing in the final game of the 2025 regular season against Ohio State, Maisie Boesiger sat for a press conference. Expressing her feelings about the game, she revealed that it was a great deal for her and that she wanted to enjoy every minute of it. Opening up about how excited she was for the match, she said:

"I was so excited and just so grateful. I have loved Nebraska volleyball my whole life and once again, it was just like a dream come true and I just wanted to take in every single minute. It kind of felt like the stadium match where I woke up and I was like, "Okay, I'm going to enjoy every second today." And that's kind of how I went into this day feeling," said Maisie Boesiger.

Maisie Boesiger recently revealed her plans for her future in an interview. She revealed that she has already joined League One Volleyball and is managing the social media for Omaha. In addition to this, she also revealed that she and her boyfriend, Nolan Schwarting, closed on a house together.
