“Yoza is very good at fighting Thai fighters” - Kana Morimoto offers breakdown and prediction of Superlek vs. Yuki Yoza at ONE 173

Even four-time K-1 Champion Kana Morimoto of Japan is excited to witness the absolute kicking battle between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Yuki Yoza at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri.

This Thailand vs. Japan superfight will take place inside Ariake Arena in Tokyo this Sunday, where 'Krusher Queen' also battles Stamp Fairtex in a women’s atomweight kickboxing bout.

While Kana is also preparing for her own bout, she couldn’t help but share expert analysis about Superlek and Yoza’s brewing rivalry.

According to the 33-year-old, Superlek possesses the durability to absorb Yoza's signature calf kicks since this will be a three-round fight. But she’s not also counting out her compatriot’s destructive power and wouldn’t be shocked if he somehow cracks ‘The Kicking Machine’s' chin.

Kana told the South China Morning Post (SCMP):

“I think the three round, three minute fight is going to be key because I think Superlek can take Yoza’s kicks for three rounds but on the other hand, Yoza is very good at fighting Thai fighters so I see the chance of Yoza knocking out Superlek. I would also predict if it would be a decision fight, Superlek might win. But if it’s a KO, Yoza might win.”

Kana Morimoto's speed and precision have dazzled fans in the world's largest martial arts organization.

However, 'Krusher Queen' believes she has way more to offer, particularly her fight-ending power.

The Team Aftermath athlete said in the same SCMP interview:
