The WWE Universe is convinced that a popular former champion is set for a surprising return at the 2026 Royal Rumble after she recently made a major change. The name in question is former Divas Champion Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn was one of the most popular names on the women's roster in the early 2010s. She helped elevate female wrestling alongside AJ Lee and The Bella Twins. The iconic star left the Stamford-based promotion in 2014 to focus on her career in the fitness industry. She also stated that she would no longer compete inside the squared circle after she departed from the company, but she returned to the WWE ring in 2018 to participate in the Mae Young Classic Tournament.

The former Divas Champion recently uploaded her hair transformation video on her Instagram. In the clip, Kaitlyn can be seen getting rid of her dreads for a new short haircut.

A fan reuploaded her transformation video on their X/Twitter, convinced that the star was teasing her 2026 Royal Rumble return with the post.

Kaitlyn is open to a WWE return

During a July 2024 interview on Developmentally Speaking, Kaitlyn highlighted that she was in the best physical shape at the moment and was open to a return, possibly at a future Royal Rumble.

"I think it would be cool to do something at some point. I'm in the best shape ever physically now. I actually went not last year, but the year before [to the Royal Rumble], I think. WWE called me to come out. I ended up not doing anything on the show, but I'm open to it."

It remains to be seen if the Triple H-led creative team has planned anything for Kaitlyn's return to WWE TV.
