WWE Holiday Tour Results: Female star replaced due to injury in huge title match; John Cena tribute (Syracuse, 1/1/26)

WWE is currently on its holiday tour. Several high-profile stars were in action during a recent live event in Syracuse on January 1, 2026.

Former Women's World Champion IYO SKY locked horns with The Judgment Day's Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match. Both stars put on an incredible display of action inside the ring, but the bout ultimately ended in The Genius of the Sky's favor.

On the other hand, Nathan Frazer and Axiom teamed up to defeat The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a Tag Team Match. There was another tag match on the card, which saw The Wyatt Sicks reign supreme against Solo Sikao's MFT.

Current Women's Champion Jade Cargill was also in action on the show. The Storm was supposed to face Mia Yim once again for the title. However, according to a recent report by Fightful, Yim suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury and was pulled from her matches on the live holiday tour. She was ultimately replaced by B-Fab, who was unable to capitalize on the opportunity to win gold, as Cargill defeated her.

Meanwhile, Gunther faced Sami Zayn in a singles match. During this bout, Zayn paid tribute to the GOAT John Cena as he hit The Ring General with Cena's signature, the Five Knuckle Shuffle.

The main event of the show featured Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre once again. The two locked horns in a Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship, which ultimately ended in The American Nightmare's favor.

The American Nightmare and The Scottish Warrior are set to face each other once again for the title on the January 9, 2026, edition of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany. However, this time, the two will lock horns in a Three Stages of Hell Match. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top.
