"Worst QB of all time," "Trade him for Lamar Jackson": NFL fans rip Jared Goff after 5-turnover disasterclass in Lions vs. Vikings

The Detroit Lions have been eliminated from playoff contention after a 23-10 loss at the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday. And fans did not take long to find a scapegoat - quarterback Jared Goff, who threw two interceptions against a touchdown to Isaac TeSlaa and lost three fumbles.

The first of those turnovers came with under four minutes in the first quarter, when he mishandled a snap, allowing Andrew Van Ginkel to fall on the ball. The next four came in the second half - picks to Byron Murphy and Harrison Smith, a sack to Van Ginkel and Dallas Turner, and finally another botched snap that Van Ginkel also recovered.

Also, none of Goff's weapons cracked 70 yards, with Amon-Ra St. Brown coming the closest at 68 from eight catches. Jahmyr Gibbs also added to the Lions' offensive woes by committing a fumble early in the second quarter.

The Vikings, meanwhile, got another weak performance from Max Brosmer, who completed just nine passing attempts for 51 yards and was sacked seven times. However, he did empower kicker Will Reichard, who made three field goals, while Aaron Jones and Jordan Addison each scored a rushing touchdown.
