Wives of Bryce Harper, Cody Bellinger and Freddie Freeman send heartfelt wishes as Dansby Swanson & wife Mallory welcome their first child

Dansby Swanson and his wife, Mallory, welcomed their firstborn child, and they announced it on Friday through an Instagram post. The post features a baby girl lying down, gently holding onto a parent’s finger. The snapshot is captured in black and white.

"Josie James Swanson 💕 we love you more than you’ll ever know, babygirl," Mallory wrote as a caption. "God is good. I love you, MOM and Josie girl ❤️,"

Swanson showed gratitude and wrote.

"God is good. I love you MOM and Josie girl"

Meanwhile, Mallory's U.S. women's national team teammate Sophie Wilson also reacted to the post.

"My niece, Gigigs' 'sissy, we love you so much already 🥹🩷."

Dansby Swanson’s wife, Mallory, shared a heartfelt season-ending post

Mallory shared a photo dump from October baseball on Instagram. In Game 5 of the NLDS on October 11, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated Dansby Swanson and the Cubs 3-1 to move on the the NLCS.

The post features Swanson in a blue October baseball uniform while Mallory wore a customized white sweatshirt featuring a “7” Swanson jersey number.

She wrote,

"Love ya CHI♥️."

Dansby Swanson hit .244 with 24 home runs and 77 RBIs for the Cubs, who made it back to the postseason for the first time since 2020.

Dansby and Mallory Swanson met through a blind date setup by his former team, Atlanta Braves player Jace Peterson’s sister-in-law, Mallory. They clicked instantly in 2017 and tied the knot in 2022, the same year he signed a 7-year contract with the Chicago Cubs for $177 million; he called this moment "Such a blessing."
