Rey Mysterio is returning!

Rey Mysterio is returning for a massive appearance. The Master of the 619 was last seen on the November 3 episode of RAW, where he confronted his son, Dominik Mysterio.

While it's unclear when his next WWE appearance will be, Rey is set to appear at a massive Lucha Libre AAA event.

Rey has made quite a few appearances for the Mexican promotion since it came under WWE's umbrella and will be present at the AAA Alianzas event on November 28. AAA made the announcement via a post on X/Twitter.

At the moment, there are no further details as to what he will be doing at the event. The WWE icon has been showing up for AAA through live and video appearances ever since its acquisition by the Stamford-based promotion in April.

He appeared at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide in June to give a speech to open the show. In August, he made another appearance, this time to induct Konnan into the AAA Hall of Fame.

Rey Mysterio was also present at the September Worlds Collide event, where he had to put the AAA Mega Championship around the waist of his son after he beat Vikingo.

WWE canceled plans for Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik match at Survivor Series

Since 2022, the father-son duo have been involved in an on-and-off feud. While they did have a one-on-one match at WrestleMania 39, the possibility of them facing again.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Mysterio was planned to face Dominik at Survivor Series in San Diego. However, those plans were scrapped, and the match has been called off.

Dominik was also rumored to face John Cena at Survivor Series, but instead that match took place on RAW this week in Boston. Cena came out victorious to earn his first Intercontinental championship and ended Dirty Dom's status as a double champion.
