Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 22-19 loss on the road at the hands of their division rivals, the Denver Broncos. This outcome comes after their disappointing 28-21 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.

With a two-game losing streak, there is an air of uncertainty about the Chiefs emerging as this season's AFC champions. After Sunday's result, Skip Bayless took to social media to share his honest thoughts about Andy Reid's team. In one tweet, he highlighted how the Chiefs' dominance in the AFC is slowly coming to an end.

"THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD," he wrote.

In another tweet, Bayless criticized Patrick Mahomes' performance. He said that the three-time Super Bowl champion is slowly deteriorating in terms of the quality of offensive plays on the field.

"Mahomes just isn't what he used to be. KC 0-5 in one-score games???"

Against the Broncos, Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of 45 passes for 276 yards and just one touchdown. He had found TE Travis Kelce with a 21-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Mahomes also threw one interception in the game.

During their Week 9 loss against the Bills, the Chiefs quarterback had completed 15 of 34 passes for 250 yards and no touchdowns and one interception.

This season, Mahomes has tallied 2,625 yards and 18 touchdowns passing while rushing for four touchdowns. They are currently the third-best team in the AFC West with a 5-5 record behind the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos.
