Aryna Sabalenka is looking forward to the "Battle of Sexes" showdown against Nick Kyrgios. The exhibition match has already had fans wondering why it's happening in the first place. Sabalenka's latest jibe against Kyrgios has left fans even more furious.

On Sunday, Sabalenka dropped a story on Instagram where she teased about her upcoming encounter while challenging Kyrgios, writing:

"I'm coming for you."

The post comes while Sabalenka is enjoying her vacation in the Maldives with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, just days after her loss to Elena Rybakina in the WTA Finals in Riyadh.

A fan reposted Sabalenka's story on X, while adding:

"i’ve had enough, someone needs to take her phone away."

Upon seeing this post, fans trolled the World No. 1 for showing excitement for the upcoming showdown.

"Nothing in her head," one fan wrote. "Sabalenka is an embarrassment as World No. 1. Embarrassment for the whole sport of tennis," one fan said. "So brainless. I can’t like her anymore at all," another fan reacted. "I’ve had enough, someone needs to take her phone away," another fan added. "her phone needs to be taken away immediately, I still don't understand why she thinks this is a good idea," one fan commented. "She loves the camera like no sportive player I have ever seen. It is good; let her keep her phone to entertain us. All I want from my favorite player is to stop losing those Finals," one fan wrote. "Like she can't seriously think this is a good idea, right?" one fan added. "the worst part is that he’s the only one who’s going to benefit from all of this," one fan wrote. "Guys, calm down. He’s going to let her win. C’mon it’s 2025," one fan predicted.

Aryna Sabalenka vs Nick Kyrgios: 'Battle of Sexes' exhibition match details

Aryna Sabalenka's season might be over, but she is excited for her upcoming encounter against Nick Kyrgios titled "Battle of the Sexes." The highly anticipated showdown will take place on December 28, 2025, at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Rules have been modified in favor of Sabalenka to level the playing field. Kyrgios will only get one serve per point. Meanwhile, Sabalenka's side of the court will be intentionally made smaller. It will be a best of three-sets match, with the final set to be played as a 10-point tiebreaker.

The match is inspired by the legendary 1973 "Battle of the Sexes" between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. Sabalenka is proud to represent women's tennis through this showcase. Meanwhile, Kyrgios is also feeling the pressure since he's representing men's tennis in a way.
