The Baltimore Ravens are about halfway through their first season with a new kicker.
Tyler Loop has been solid so far.
The rookie has made 12 of his 13 field goal attempts so far, with a long of 52 yards. His only miss came from beyond 50 yards.
Loop is also 18-of-19 on extra points.
He's been in the primetime spotlight plenty and is again on Week 9 Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins.

Why is Tyler Loop the Ravens' kicker?
Tyler Loop is the Ravens' kicker because of the offseason release of Justin Tucker.
Tucker had been the Baltimore kicker from 2012 through 2024.
The Ravens released Tucker in May as the NFL investigates him for allegations of sexual misconduct.
They had already drafted Loop in April in the sixth round, but it took a bit of time before Baltimore made the final decision on Tucker.
The Ravens brought in a bit of competition for Loop this summer, but he won the job and looks set to have it all season.

What is Tyler Loop's career-long field goal?
Tyler Loop made a 62-yard field goal in 2024 for Arizona.
The game was about to go to halftime, so the Wildcats figured they had nothing to lose.
And Loop was money, the longest FG in University of Arizona history.
In the NFL through Week 8 of his rookie season, Loop's long is 52 yards.
