The Charlotte Hornets continue to be without their best player.
LaMelo Ball is on the sideline for the third straight game.
The Hornets are taking on the Miami Heat on Friday night. They're doing it without Ball and without Collin Sexton.
MORE: Pelicans have a Zion Williamson problem that a trade won't solve
Why isn't LaMelo Ball playing tonight?
Ball remains out with an injury.
He has right ankle impingement.
The Hornets' injury list is getting lengthy.
Sexton was initially probable but was also ruled out.
They were already without Brandon Miller, Josh Green and Grant Williams.
Sexton was leading the way offensively without Ball, but not having both of them is a tricky one.
Miles Bridges should see a lot of usage, and there should be plenty of shots for Kon Knueppel.
Ball was originally questionable for the game, which probably means he has a shot of getting back sometime pretty soon. But not yet.
