The Los Angeles Lakers have already made a bunch of signings this offseason.
But on Monday, they added one more to the list, and it's one that The Athletic's John Hollinger calls his "favorite move" of the Lakers' entire list of action thus far.
The move: Signing Ziaire Williams.
Williams played with Bronny James at Sierra Canyon in high school, and now he joins the Lakers as a still-young wing with potential.
The Brooklyn Nets could've kept Williams by accepting his player option this summer, but they declined it, allowing him to join the Lakers.
Williams is coming off a season in which he averaged 10.2 points per game and shot 34.3% from 3-point range.

Is Ziaire Williams good?
A former top-tier recruit, Williams played at Stanford, then with the Memphis Grizzlies, before ending up in Brooklyn.
He's always been viewed as someone with immense talent, and he'll turn 25 in September.
"He’s already filled a similar low-usage forward role on a good team when he was with the Grizzlies, and has a knack for off-ball cuts for alleyoops and dunks," Hollinger wrote after the signing was reported. "Getting him on a minimum deal is tremendous value, something that can’t exactly be said for the Lakers’ other signings this July, and he fits this roster much better than Jonathan Kuminga."
Williams doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, which is good news on a Lakers team with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
If he continues to show that off-ball awareness that he has before in his career, Williams can work out nicely in Hollywood.
