Nate Wiggins' Baltimore Ravens recorded an important 41-24 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 17 on Saturday. However, cornerback Wiggins struggled with his coverage, allowing six receptions for 146 yards on seven targets.

While discussing Wiggins' performance against Green Bay, analyst Shannon Sharpe recalled how the Ravens CB was also culpable for his team's 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 16 on Dec. 21.

"Explain to me how can Nate Wiggins run 4.28 at the combine, play off coverage and teams still get behind him? ... What good does gambling gonna do?" Sharpe said on his "Nightcap" show on Saturday. "He can't catch the ball. He had an opportunity to seal the game last week. The ball hit him in the chest and he dropped it. Why is he gambling?"

The Ravens took Wiggins in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. While the CB has shown glimpses of brilliance in his time at Baltimore, he has also had some moments of lapse in understanding the game.

This season, Wiggins has recorded 72 tackles (52 solo), 12 passes defended and three interceptions for the Ravens.

Wiggins and the Ravens (8-8) will face the Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7) in Week 18 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET from Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

If the Ravens beat the Steelers, they will win the AFC North. If not, Pittsburgh will clinch the division to make the playoffs.

Baltimore enters its regular-season finale after a big win over the Packers; the Steelers lost to the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.

Had Pittsburgh beaten Cleveland, it would have guaranteed the team the AFC North title.
