Recently, a WWE veteran made a controversial remark about wrestling moves in today's generation. While it was a general opinion, many believed it was subtly targeted at AEW. Following the comments by the WWE name, All Elite Wrestling made a surprising move on its social media platform as an alleged response to the comments.
WWE legend William Regal made a serious post on his X recently. The 57-year-old star suggested that young wrestlers avoid dangerous moves in the ring, as it may lead to long-term injury. He said that the glory days of wrestling are for a short period of time. But the injury sustained in the ring could affect daily work life. Therefore, performing wild moves on the neck and head could be critical for life.
Shortly after this post by Regal, AEW shared a clip from Jon Moxley vs. Kyle Fletcher's Worlds End match on their Instagram. The video showcased the scary moment where The Protostar fell on his neck during a Cutthroat Superplex. Many people are considering that this social media activity is All Elite Wrestling's shot at William Regal's recent comments.
