Why Eagles game isn’t on YouTube TV tonight

The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers are lined up to play one of the games of the season on Monday Night Football.

Some Philly fans, those with YouTube TV, won't be able to watch.

It's quite the bummer for anyone looking for the game on their television service right now and not finding it.

Why isn't the Eagles game on YouTube TV tonight?

The game is scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. kickoff on ESPN, except that channel isn't available right now for YouTube TV subscribers.

ESPN networks went dark on YouTube TV on Oct. 30.

Google's YouTube TV and Disney's ESPN remain locked in a stalemate over carriage fees.

"Disney is proposing costly economic terms that would raise prices for YouTube TV customers and give our customers fewer choices, while benefitting Disney’s own live TV products," YouTube TV said in an early statement.

According to Deadline, Google submitted a "revised proposal" this weekend, although it's unclear exactly how the talks are progressing.

The lack of ESPN networks on YouTube TV has impacted not just Monday Night Football but also some broadcasts for fans of college football, college basketball and the NBA.

Packers-Eagles is likely the biggest viewership draw so far that will not be seen by anyone with YouTube TV.
