After San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was not disciplined following his elbowing of Minnesota Timberwolves big man Naz Reid in the face, Draymond Green chimed in about the situation.
The Golden State Warriors player has seen his fair share of punishments dealt out for on-court unsportsmanlike acts. It's safe to say he is far from happy that the NBA went light on Wembanyama when he most likely would have been fined and potentially suspended during the playoffs.
Here's what the Golden State veteran said about the league's decision not to penalize the Spurs' star.

Why Draymond Green disagrees with NBA's Victor Wembanyama decision
On Monday morning, the NBA announced that Wembanyama would not be suspended after elbowing Minnesota's Naz Reid in the face. Along with no game time missed, the Spur did not have to pay any fines either.
There will be no further discipline for Spurs star Victor Wembanyama after he was ejected for elbowing Naz Reid in Minnesota on Sunday night, sources tell ESPN. No suspension, no fine. — Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) May 11, 2026Less than half an hour after the news broke, Green broke to social media and outlined that he was shocked at this outcome. The veteran, who has been both suspended and fined numerous times throughout his NBA career, believed the league suspended him for far less serious offenses. Here is Green's post where he responded to Glenn Gilbertti, a former professional wrestler.
Y’all have called for my career for less. https://t.co/CUDr4X7yJK
— Draymond Green (@Money23Green) May 11, 2026Although Green has a lengthy offense list that has been added onto almost every season he has played, this is Wembanyama's first time doing something unsportsmanlike on the court. If the 22-year-old were to do something like this again, the NBA would most likely not be as lenient and would be forced to suspend and/or fine Wembanyama.
For now, though, Green will be forced to watch the Frenchman suit up for Tuesday's Game 5.
