Ale Kaho is just getting his NFL journey started for the Washington Commanders.
He's trying to make a name for himself.
Kaho is a rookie. He began his college career at Alabama and finished it at UCLA before going undrafted.
Now, he's with the Commanders as one of their core special teams players.
He's also got a different-looking helmet than his teammates.

Why is 51 Ale Kaho's helmet different?
Kaho's helmet isn't actually different.
Instead, he's got a protective covering over it.
It's called a Guardian Cap. It's a soft-shelled cover that is designed to help protect against head injuries.
Guardian Caps were first allowed to be worn on NFL practice fields in 2020.
The first time players could wear Guardian Caps in games was 2024.
Kaho was concussed in Week 10 of this season and had to miss time.
It makes sense that he'd want to prevent that from happening again.
