Chelsea star Tyrique George has made himself a popular man at Stamford Bridge after rising through the ranks and breaking into the first team this season.
George has become something of a regular feature in the Chelsea squad this season.
But he has set his sights on bigger goals now and wants to get as many minutes under his belt going forward.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are left without a recognised striker for the rest of the season after Nicolas Jackson was sent off for elbowing Sven Botman in the head during the game against Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
Earlier in the season, George stepped up to play as the central striker despite being a winger by trade.
It’ll be interesting to see if the 19-year-old academy graduate is called upon in the next two matches.

What George had to say about his future at Chelsea
George has admitted his target in the future is to play as much as possible, whether that’s at Chelsea or a different club.
When asked for his short-term and long-term goals in football, George said on the Rising Ballers YouTube channel: “I’d say long-term just to carry on playing as many games as possible, if that’s with Chelsea or somewhere else. I’m just really happy to keep playing games and getting experience as well.”
George’s words are a reflection of his mindset and his hunger to play at the highest level. However, Chelsea fans should be worried about the youngster’s willingness to go anywhere in his quest to get regular game time.
Even though he’s now a full member of the first-team group, he’s still behind the likes of Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho in the wide positions. When it comes to the 2025/26 season, George’s competition for a starting role could become even tougher when Estevao Willian arrives as well.
