The Minnesota Timberwolves get to take the court Monday night in front of a national audience.
Their game against the Brooklyn Nets is being shown on the streaming service Peacock as part of NBC's first foray into the NBA in decades.
The Wolves won't be at full strength, though.
Anthony Edwards will be in street clothes on the sideline.
Why isn't Anthony Edwards playing tonight?
Anthony Edwards isn't playing tonight because he remains out with an injury.
He has a right hamstring strain. It knocked him eight days ago after just three and a half minutes. He hasn't played since.
When is Anthony Edwards coming back?
ESPN's Shams Charania reported at the time that Edwards would miss "two weeks." It's been about a week.
On Monday, the Timberwolves announced that Edwards has been cleared for contact basketball activities.
"Edwards’ game availability will remain as out as he continues to progress through his return-to-play rehabilitation program," the Timberwolves said in their press release. "Further updates of his progress will be provided when available."
