Jake Paul has spoken out about his fight against Gervonta "Tank" Davis being canceled on Adin Ross' stream, saying that "terrible people have such big fanbases." During a Kick livestream on November 3, 2025, Adin Ross connected with Jake Paul via a FaceTime call.

During their conversation, the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer claimed that he "felt bad" about the situation surrounding his now-defunct boxing fight with Gervonta Davis.

Jake Paul stated:

"But, yeah, I feel bad, bro. I wanted to hang out with you and... you know, we're literally here hunting. (Adin Ross says, 'Oh, s**t! Who is that?') These are my homies. But we're literally hunting right now. (Adin Ross replies, 'Okay, I'll let you guys get to it, Jake. But, I'm sorry. I'm sorry you were going through that.') Nah, it's all good, bro. But, I really wanted to hang out, knock this guy out, like... the craziest part about it is that these guys, who are like... terrible people have such big fanbases, and like, rise to the top of sport and culture, and they're just pieces of s**t. That's what I hate the most, bro."

Jake Paul calls Gervonta Davis an "actual walking human piece of garbage" after their fight gets canceled

On the same day (November 3, 2025), Jake Paul took to X after his fight with Gervonta Davis was canceled, to call the latter an "actual walking human piece of garbage." While claiming that working with Davis was an "absolute nightmare," the influencer accused him of "unprofessionalism."

Paul elaborated:

"Gervonta Davis is an actual walking human piece of garbage. Working with him is an absolute nightmare. The unprofessionalism, the bizarre requests, the showing up hours late to shoots. To the numerous arrests and related accusations and lawsuits. If you support this man you support the most vile sin a man can commit."

The 28-year-old went on to label Gervonta Davis as a "woman abuser" and added:

"I didn’t want to give this woman abuser a platform to grow his fans and to grow his bank account. My company champions women. I’m so sorry to everyone involved. Mostly to the undercard fighters, to my team at MVP and to my team who worked so hard prepping for this fight. Sacrificing time with loved ones and kids just for this fool to lose his unintelligent mind again. It’s scary that devilish men like this can rise to the top of culture and sports, including in positions of power."
