Who is SUTAK, and what happened to him? All you need to know as YouTuber allegedly kidnapped and assaulted over unpaid services

On October 26, 2025, a popular gaming creator, SUTAK (Go Jin-ho), was reportedly abducted and brutally beaten at 10:40 pm. The attack allegedly happened in an underground parking lot of an apartment complex in Incheon. He was allegedly dragged from his car and was taken to the hospital with an orbital blowout fracture, multiple contusions, and a broken ring finger. The YouTuber is scheduled for surgery.

The gamer rose to fame by streaming on AfreecaTV beginning in 2013, later launching a YouTube channel, @sutak_istp. With about one million subscribers, the channel focuses on game recordings.

The victim’s legal representative said that the assault lasted roughly two hours. Victim statements published in reports include his immediate alarm before the meeting, saying (via Newsis),

"I felt threatened."

He added,

"I stopped my car in a driveway instead of parking. I suspected Rooster, so I didn't get in, but someone was hiding with the hood pulled over their head. I felt something was wrong and called 112. When they realized they had reported me, they took out a rope and strangled Rooster."

The 31-year-old continued,

"One of them was driving, and the other was in the backseat, hitting Rooster in the face. They said, 'It's easier to kill you. It's better to kill you, sell your organs, and become famous.'"

The accused reportedly sent an address on the 19th and said, “Come get your money”. After looking for the address, the rooster refused, knowing that it was in the mountains with nothing. A changed the place to the apartment parking lot, and the incident happened.

Officers arrested two suspects (a man in his 20s and a man in his 30s) and have charged them with attempted murder. One suspect was caught in Yasan, Chungcheongnam-do, nearly 200 kilometers from the apartment complex. Meanwhile, others have been taken into custody by Incheon Yeonsu Police as the inquiry continues.

Sandbox Network confirms SUTAK’s hospitalization

Sandbox Network, the agency representing SUTAK, confirmed his hospitalization, saying that he "is indeed the victim of the incident.” The agency added (per The Chosun Daily),

“Sutak is currently hospitalized, awaiting surgery, and focusing on treatment and recovery. He requested us to convey his sincere apologies for causing worry to his fans due to this incident.”

Sandbox asserted that they would take legal steps while asking fans to give him space to recover.

"We will actively support all necessary measures, including legal action, to resolve this incident smoothly and protect the creator. We once again apologize to the fans who were shocked by the sudden news and kindly ask for your understanding and warm support," the company stated.

When the incident was initially reported, the victim’s identity was not revealed. However, online users speculated it was SUTAK after recognizing the vehicle shown in the footage from the scene.
