Which Jets could be on the move before the NFL trade deadline?

The trade deadline arrives on Tuesday at 4 p.m., and the big question around here is just how active the Jets and new general manager Darren Mougey will be.

It is going to be interesting to see how the Jets handle this. They are 1-7 and are not going to end their playoff drought this season. So, the thought might be to trade away some assets, particularly those on expiring contracts, to add draft picks with an eye toward 2026 and beyond.

But the Jets do have nine games left, and new coach Aaron Glenn is trying to build a program. He could use some victories to reinforce his message. If you ship out good players, you are signaling to your locker room that you are giving up.

We have seen what happened to Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson when they were thrown into bad situations with the Jets.
