The kings of cycling assemble Sunday for one of the most anticipated and challenging events on the annual calendar, the Tour of Flanders.

De Ronde tests the world's best with its harrowing cobblestone sections, which inevitably lead to punctures and wrecks that can change the complexion of the race at any moment.

The unique degree of difficulty makes crossing the finish line first a true accomplishment, and the list of recent winners bears that out. Tadej Pogacar took the crown in 2025 and 2023, while Mathieu van der Poel added his name to the list of the all-time greats with victories in 2024, 2022 and 2020.

Van der Poel is one of seven riders with three career wins at De Ronde. Another win Sunday would put him alone as the all-time leader. Will he reach that milestone, will Pogacar join the group of three-time winners, or will another contender like Wout van Aert break through?

Here's everything you need to know to watch this year's Tour of Flanders.
