Stitch Head is a 2025 animated comedy-horror feature, written and directed by Steve Hudson. Hudson’s work is adapted from Guy Bass’s 2011 children’s novel, which carries the same title. In a retelling of the Frankenstein myth, the film unfolds the journey of an outcast who, by guarding a castle full of bizarre creatures, finds a new meaning of life.
The movie had a successful debut at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 10, 2025. Briarcliff Entertainment is the company that will be releasing it across theaters in the U.S. on October 29, 2025, which is also the day of Halloween.
It was released in Germany on October 16, 2025, and will hit theaters in the United Kingdom on February 6, 2026, distributed by Kazoo Films.
