Cristiano Ronaldo has racked up one of the most legendary football careers in the history of the sport.
A five-time winner of the UEFA Champions League, the most coveted club trophy in the game, Ronaldo has a trophy case that is bursting at the seams. With three Premier League titles, two La Liga championships, two Scudetto titles, A European Championship and much more, CR7 is one of the most decorated footballers of all time.
Yet as he extends his career at 40 years old and pushes for a bit more glory before bowing out, his uncanny ability to collect silverware is not what it once was.
The Sporting News details the last time Ronaldo won a trophy after a memorable night with Portugal cut a contrast to a string of disappointments with Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo's last major trophy
The last time Cristiano Ronaldo won a major club title was May 19, 2021 when Ronaldo was with Juventus.
The Old Lady defeated Atalanta 2-1 in the Coppa Italia final to lift the domestic Cup title. Ronaldo started the final but did not score, as Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa grabbed the decisive goals. It would be his final title for the club as he rejoined Manchester United the following summer.
Since that time, Ronaldo has not won a single major club trophy, going two seasons at United and three seasons at Al Nassr without any silverware.
The only potential dispute to this would be the Arab Club Champions Cup that he won with Al Nassr in the summer of 2023. However, that competition is not a FIFA-sanctioned tournament and therefore does not officially count amongst his major titles.
At international level, Ronaldo led Portugal to their first major honour at Euro 2016. The Selecao then won the inaugural UEFA Nations League on home soil in 2019 and, six years later, an equaliser from the 40-year-old Ronaldo set up a penalty shootout victory over rivals Spain to win the 2024/25 edition.
Portugal's Nations League final success in Munich on June 8, 2025 came 1,481 days after that Coppa Italia triumph with Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo last individual trophy
Known just as much for his ability to stand out amongst a crowd as he is for winning team trophies, Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most individually decorated players in the history of football.
He has won the second-highest number of Ballon d'Or trophies with five, behind only the historic eight won by Lionel Messi.
Unlike his drought for team titles, Ronaldo has won an individual award recently, being named Saudi Pro League Player of the Season in 2023/24, as he broke the league's single-season goalscoring record that year.
