The record builds on the success of her Grammy-nominated 2024 debut att. and her 2022 EP Trap Kitty. Across its 16 tracks, Do Not Disturb explores themes of self-love, heartbreak, and growth.
According to the artist, songs like Ojalá and Algo Casual capture moments of introspection and emotional maturity, while Traviesa, her only collaboration on the album, reunites her with Eladio Carrión for a playful trap exchange written spontaneously in the studio.
Young Miko talks about her creative process
As reported by Variety on November 7, 2025, Do Not Disturb reflects Young Miko’s transition from constant touring to deliberate stillness. She created the album in moments of solitude while traveling for her arena shows with Billie Eilish, often writing in quiet hotel rooms between performances.

Speaking to Variety, the artist described the process as “an emotional roller coaster” shaped by self-doubt, creative uncertainty, and ultimately, trust in her collaborators, especially her longtime producer Mauro, who also worked on att.
Young Miko also told Variety that the project wasn’t meant to be “explained or overthought,” but rather “felt,” representing her most instinctive and honest work to date. The album also showcases her diverse influences, from Drake’s 2016 Hotline Bling era to Lil Wayne’s Lollipop, which she reportedly references in her track WASSUP.
With her new album Do Not Disturb, Young Miko continues her evolution from breakout Latin trap artist to global performer. Beyond music, Miko told Variety she hopes to expand into acting, saying she is open to “literally any type of role.”
Her growing visibility, particularly as a queer Latina artist performing on international stages, reportedly represents a significant step for representation in mainstream pop and reggaeton.
