In the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Axiom got unmasked during a tag team match. This happened when Axiom and Frazer were locking horns with DIY. At the end of the match, Candice LeRae, who was at ringside, ripped off the mask of Axiom.

In an attempt to cover his face, the masked man got distracted, allowing DIY to pick up the victory. Since this incident, many fans are wondering what Axiom looks like unmasked.

For those who might not know, Axiom already competed without the mask during his early in-ring career in WWE. The young star debuted as A-Kid on NXT UK in April 2019. Later, he officially signed a deal with the Stamford-based promotion and competed without the mask.

After becoming the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Cup winner, A-Kid shone in front of the audience. However, later, when the company debuted him in NXT 2.0, he got repackaged and debuted as Axiom, a young star with the mask and speed of light in his moves.

So, if you are a fan of Axiom since the beginning, you already know that A-Kid is the star behind the mask. Meanwhile, in the masked persona, Axiom tries his best to hide his personality as World Wrestling Entertainment has yet to officially confirm the star behind the mask.

However, ripping off a mask is considered a disrespect among luchadors. So, it remains to be seen what's next for Axiom after what happened on SmackDown.

Axiom shared his first reaction after getting unmasked on WWE SmackDown

After what happened on SmackDown, WWE star Axiom shared his reaction on his official X (fka Twitter) account. He posted an image of the live-action Spider-Man film, featuring Tobey Maguire as the lead actor. In this image, Peter Parker was seen unmasked as Spider-Man and seemingly wondering about his powers.

So it seems that Axiom is currently having the same feeling after Candice LeRae's actions on the Friday Night show. His partner, Nathan Frazer, also shared an image of Axiom backstage after the incident. Here, his face is covered with the towel, and Frazer disclosed that the masked man is fine.

Overall, it seems that WWE has all the plans to extend the rivalry between DIY and Fraxiom. This feud could be great for both teams and for the SmackDown tag team division as well.
