Every Grow a Garden update brings new Pets to enhance the player's collection experience. These critters not only possess unique passive abilities, but also spruce up your garden with their eye-catching appearances. The Geode Turtle is one of the coolest animals debuted by the Smithing Event. It has luminescent orange, blue, and red crystals on its shell and a sleek marble body.

Both the Geode Turtle's ability and appearance make it a highly sought-after Pet. However, obtaining it involves several attempts in the digging mini-game.

Ability of the Geode Turtle in Grow a Garden

The Geode Turtle has a single passive ability called Geode Sprinkler in Grow a Garden. When it is at age 1, this turtle activates its ability every 5 minutes and 48 seconds and converts an Advanced Sprinkler into a Geode Sprinkler. The special sprinkler applies the Geode Mutation to crops within its range.

For the Geode Turtle's ability to be successful, you must have an Advanced Sprinkler in your garden. It will change the equipment to a Geode Sprinkler, which is much more beneficial. Advanced Sprinklers can be bought from the Gear Shop for 50,000 Sheckles or 99 Robux apiece.

The Geode Sprinkler, exclusively given by the Geode Turtle, functions for 60 seconds. It applies the Geode Mutation to fruits, giving them a 5x increase in their sale value as well as special visual effects.

Before the Geode Turtle changes an Advanced Sprinkler, you'll notice it bouncing on that equipment. The crystals on its shell will also shine brighter than usual.

How to get Geode Turtle in Grow a Garden

Players have a 5.15% chance of getting a Geode Turtle from the digging mini-game. To get started with this challenge, follow these steps:

• Click on the Shop button on the left side of the game screen.
• Press the Dig Now button for the Treasure Digging challenge.
• During the mini-game, you must click on the blocks that need to be dug. Keep at it until you run out of digs or collect all the prizes.
• If necessary, use Robux to increase the number of allotted digs.

Given that the Geode Turtle has a low chance of appearing as a digging reward, consider trading for the Pet. It belongs to the Rare category, so you can give a critter of similar or higher rarity in exchange for the turtle.
