The Knicks are one win away from their first trip to the Eastern Conference since 2000, with Game 5 of their second-round series against the Celtics on tap for Wednesday night.
Buoyed by yet another second-half comeback, New York erased a 14-point second-half deficit to down Boston in Game 4. Jalen Brunson dropped 39 points and 12 assists in the eight-point victory, his best performance to date in the series.
The complementary pieces around Brunson are clicking, too. Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby each scored at least 20 points to fuel the Knicks to the Game 4 win and a 3-1 advantage.
Now, the series shifts back to Boston with the Celtics simply looking to stay afloat. In each of their three second-round losses, the defending champions have let double-digit leads wither away.
There was also a great deal of concern over Jayson Tatum, who suffered a serious non-contact leg injury in the fourth quarter of Game 4. Tatum, who scored 42 points, needed help off the floor. The team announced his successful Achilles surgery on Tuesday and said there is currently no timetable for his return.
Here's what you need to know about Wednesday's matchup between the Celtics and the Knicks, including broadcast information and start time.
