The comment reads,

"I love you bro, but you should request a trade. The way they're treating you and glazing Gibbs is atrocious. Look what happens when we don't use you. We lose."

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to give their two cents about Montgomery's social media activity.

Some fans were more understanding.

One said, "He really should've gotten the ball on first and goal at the 1 at the end of the game. The guy refuses to get tackled in that situation. The Lions will enter the game as favorites despite being on a two-game losing streak. They've dropped their most recent games against the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers, with their most recent win occurring against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14.
