The 4-11 Washington Commanders and the 6-8-1 Dallas Cowboys are set to duke it out on Christmas. Thanks to the tie, Dallas still can pull above .500 if the team can win out. However, with championship week here, even the most hardcore Dak Prescott fans will have a hard time rooting for him if he's on the opposing team.
Here's a look at who you can trust in the matchup and who you need to stay away from.

Overall, expect Dallas to blow out Washington. Dallas plays at its best on holidays and is at full health. As such, go with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Most of their points are likely to come in the first three quarters, but it should still be quite productive.
Javonte Williams had been battling a neck injury, but after two limited practices per Dallas' official injury report, he will likely see the field for an extended period and cash in.
Meanwhile, for the Commanders, Chris Rodriguez Jr. was added to the team's injury report with an illness. That could cost him some carries, putting Jacory Croskey-Merritt in line to see some added work against a struggling Dallas defense. Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel should see some work in garbage time as well.
Must Starts
- Jacory Croskey-Merritt
- Dak Prescott
- CeeDee Lamb
- George Pickens
- Terry McLaurin
- Deebo Samuel
- Javonte Williams

Jake Ferguson at Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys - Source: GettyCeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are likely to dominate in the contest, leaving few scraps for Ryan Flournoy and Jake Ferguson. If the first read is open, Dak Prescott won't have much reason to look to his third and fourth reads, which would be Flournoy and Ferguson.
With Dallas expected to fire on all cylinders, stay away from the Washington Commanders defense. Josh Johnson should be avoided as well, as third-string quarterbacks are not a stock worth buying into as a general rule, regardless of the matchup.
As a third-string quarterback, don't expect Johnson to be capable of getting through reads quickly enough to find Treylon Burks and other depth receivers in his first start. Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel are likely to see the vast majority of targets as two receivers facing a struggling Dallas secondary. If they're open, Johnson has no reason to dig deep to find Burks.
Must Sits
- Ryan Flournoy
- Jake Ferguson
- Commanders D/ST
- Josh Johnson
- Treylon Burks
