If you’re reading this, congratulations. You’re dancing in the fantasy football playoffs. It’s not easy to get here. A 14-week grind of lineup setting, maneuvering through injuries, and the bad luck variance that comes along with this crazy game.

But we’re here, and there is no apologizing for it. Now it’s time to win. Setting the right lineup is key. We’re going to want to tinker at the slightest morsel of news to come out about our players. Honestly, the best way to play these weeks is to go with your gut and set the damn lineup today.

Find the best matchups. Look at the weather. Check on injuries. At the end of the day, play the best players. That’s how you got here.

Let’s look at some flex plays I’m feeling and a few I’m not as we head into Week 15.

Week 15 Starts:

ImagnSyndication: The Enquirer - Source: Imagn

Mike Gesicki (TE) CIN - It’s likely that receiver Tee Higgins is out (concussion), and that means Gesicki will see an extended look in the Bengals passing game. Gesicki is a tight end in name only. He’s really a wide receiver. Per Fantasy Points Data, Gesicki has run a route from the slot on 76.2% of his snaps. They aren’t having Gesicki out there to block anyone. He’s going to be a big-time receiving threat. Last week, Gesicki saw a massive 33% targets per route run. His opponent, Baltimore, allows the 7th fewest points to the tight end, but I have no worries Joe Burrow will find Gesicki early and often in a must-win spot.

Isaiah Likely (TE) BAL - Same game, different team. The Bengals are historically bad against the tight end. Thirteen different tight ends have scored double-digit fantasy points against the Bengals. That’s insane. It’s Week 15 for crying out loud. Likely has back-back-back games with six targets and 12.5 PPR points. Likely is emerging as a go-to receiver for Lamar Jackson and the struggling Ravens pass game. Last week, Likely saw a strong 23% targets per route run and a pair of endzone targets.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB) NYG - A lot of folks have forgotten about Tracy. Last we saw him in Week 13, he needed a cart ride to the locker room after injuring his hip. Well, after a BYE week to rest up, he’s practicing in full and ready to take on the woeful Commanders. Washington is a dead team walking. They give up the sixth most points to running backs. Tracy has been sneaky good. Before his injury, he had two straight weeks over 15 PPR points. Those were on the backs of over 20 touches in each game. If he’s healthy and the Giants say he is, I’m inclined to think he’ll lead them in touches and be very productive on Sunday. He’s someone I’d be very eager to flex.

Jerry Jeudy (WR) CLE - You know it’s a good matchup if I’m pumping up Jeudy. I’ve never been a fan, but going up against a banged-up Bears secondary, I’m in. Jeudy has clicked with new Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. As much as catching three balls a week can be considered clicking. The Browns don’t have many weapons, and I expect them to trail the Bears throughout. That means more Sanders drop-backs and opportunities for Jeudy. If anything, Jeudy is on the field a ton. Last week, he played 96% of the team's snaps.

Week 15 Sits:

ImagnNFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Las Vegas Raiders - Source: Imagn

Ashton Jeanty (RB) LV - I’m not sure many playoff teams have Jeanty, to be honest. He was drafted highly and was a complete bust for fantasy. The Raiders will travel to Philly and tangle with a desperate Eagles team that knows Jeanty is one of only two weapons the Raiders have. Jeanty has been abysmal on the ground. He’s rushed for 100 yards just once. That was in Week 4. The only thing keeping him afloat for fantasy is his receiving chops. He’s seen eight targets in three of his last four outings. Kenny Pickett is likely to play quarterback for the Silver and Black, and he wasn’t as eager to check it down last week. I’m out on Jeanty, as likely most of his owners are from the playoff conversation.

Adonai Mitchell (WR) NYJ - The Jets are starting an undrafted rookie quarterback. This isn’t going to end well. Mitchell’s catchable target percentage dropped by 40 with Brady Cook last week, compared to the week prior with Tyrod Taylor, per Fantasy Life. There isn’t a world in which I’m starting Mitchell. Last Sunday, this team converted one third down. Cook turned the ball three times with ease. The Jets offense won’t do anything this week. Don’t be a hero.

Michael Pittman (WR) IND - So, 44-year-old Philip Rivers is coming out of retirement to play quarterback for the Colts. Yikes. Rivers didn’t have a big arm when he stopped playing nearly five years ago. There’s no chance it’s gotten stronger on the couch. I can’t trust a grandfather who just got to the team this week to get the ball down the field to a playmaker like Pittman. It’s ideal to just bench all of your Colts for the time being. I can’t imagine this works out for anyone other than Jonathan Taylor.
