Babymetal is all grown up.
The kawaii metal J-Pop trio recently announced they’re striking out on their biggest tour yet that will send them to North America, Latin America, the UK and Europe from June through September.
They’ll be joined by special guests Halestorm and Violent Vira on all U.S. dates outside of their two festival appearances and one-off gig opening for My Chemical Romance.
And while Suzuka “Su-metal” Nakamoto, Moa “Moametal” Kikuchi and Momoko “Momometal” Okazaki aren’t slated to stop in at a New York venue on the run, they’ll get close when they headline at Newark’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Sept. 9.
If you’d like to see them shred live, tickets are officially available for all of their U.S. dates on April 10.
However, fans Kitsunes and Megitsunes can get ahead of the curve by snagging seats as early as today on secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats where prices are shockingly affordable.
Based on our findings, we found some inventory going for as low as $72 including fees on StubHub.
All other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $73 to $106 including fees.
Their upcoming outing comes in support of the boundary-pushing group’s well-received, fifth studio album “Metal Forth,” which hit shelves in August 2025.
According to Set List FM, they’ve been playing songs from the record at concerts on the Australian and Japanese legs of the tour that began last year. Notable tracks to make the cut at live shows include “from me to u,” “RATATA” and “Song 3” along with fan favorites “Road of Resistance,” “Gimme Chocolate!!” and “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!”
“…it was their presence and synchronicity that was both dazzling and felt genuinely outside the realm of most U.S.-based musical experiences,” Cincy Music wrote in a review of a November 2024 concert of theirs.
“…[they] introduced themselves…with an actual introduction song, and portions of their choreography that the crowd was keyed into and performing along with them.”

Babymetal new music
On May 11, 2025, Babymetal released their fifth studio album “METAL FORTH.”
For such a heavy record, the music is surprisingly melodic. Rather than screaming through songs, the gifted vocalists often keep things light (while their collaborators bring the fury!) merging pop and headbanging to create a sound that’s all their own.
Standouts here include the menacing, half-bubblegum/half-screamo “from me to u,” slinky club banger “RATATA,” angry epic “Song 3,” off-kilter yet hypnotic “KxAxWxAxIxI” and blissed-out rocker “Sunset Kiss.”
The real highlight though is the quirky, mosh pit-ready “METAL!!!” that fuses traditional Japanese wind instruments with unbridled guitar and drums. This is the mash-up the world didn’t know it needed.
To find your favorite tracks, you can listen to “METAL FORTH” in full here.
PS: Make sure to stick around until the bitter end, too. If you don’t, you’ll miss out on the jaw-dropping solos in the oddly dance-y finale “White Flame” (that reminds us just a bit of Trans-Siberian Orchestra).
Babymetal special guests
At all U.S. gigs, a pair of impressive opening acts will get the show underway for Babymetal. To make sure you’re familiar with their work, you can find each group’s most-streamed song on Spotify below.
