The Texas A&M coach, Jamie Morrison, credited the seniors for building a lasting legacy beyond the NCAA volleyball championships. The final round of the championships will be played on December 21 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Aggies are headed to the finals after delivering exceptional performances throughout the NCAA season. They contested against the Pitts in the semi-finals and claimed a 3-0 (29-27, 25-21, 25-20) sweep, securing their place in the finals. The players, including Maddie Waak and Kyndal Stowers, had significant contributions, leading to the team's victory.

Shortly after this triumph, the team members Waak, Emily, Hellmuth, and Ava Underwood, along with their coach Morrison, sat for a press conference. Talking about his team's performance, the coach opened up about the seniors building a legacy beyond the National Championships. He said: (17:32 onwards)

"The senior class, I told them just when we broke things down at Reed on that last one and I just said like we built this and again like not just a team that can go to the final four and play for a national championship this year, but I think something that is going to last and that's what I came to Texas A&M to do is to build something that is going to last. And this group has helped us do that. And that and again different things," said Morrison.

He added:

"There's four of them that have been here from the very beginning and then five of them that transferred in and believed in a vision of what this would be about that we could get to this spot right here. Or for some of them it was just I want to help build this so I can get to that spot and I don't even need to live it. But to have this group be able to live through it and get these experiences and enjoy it, it's just it means the world."
