Oklahoma's Isaiah Sategna, aided by Omarion Robinson's crushing block, took a punt back 88 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter of Friday night's season opener against UTEP.

Sategna took the ball near the left sideline, then made his way across the field. As he turned upfield, Robinson, a 5-foot-11, 212-pound safety, flattened a UTEP defender at the 50-yard line to spring Sategna the rest of the way.

The return gave the Sooners a 14-0 lead with 7:27 remaining in the first quarter.

Sategna changed his number from 5 to 1 this season, and he lived up to it. It was his first punt return for a touchdown at Oklahoma since transferring in before the 2025 season. He had a punt return for a touchdown at Arkansas in 2023 that also went for 88 yards. Those returns are tied for the longest plays of his career.
