It feels like forever that the Golden State Warriors have conceptually been considering a move to trade away Jonathan Kuminga.
Despite that, nothing has happened yet. Kuminga is still a Warriors player with less than 48 hours until the NBA trade deadline.
That was summed up in this amusing post from StatMuse:

The thing about a Kuminga trade -- Warriors fans are torn.
Many are still believers in the uber-talented wing who just hasn't been able to put things together on a full-time basis.
Many believe that Kuminga hasn't been given a fair shake in terms of being fully allowed to do his thing.
After the trade deadline if not traded, it is in the Warriors best interest to fully unleash Jonathan Kuminga.
See what you really have in him. Showcase him. You either have a player for the future or rehabbed asset value to use to retool in the summer. I believe in him tho😇
There are others that just want Kuminga gone, though.
His whole saga has been a bit frustrating.
If the Warriors hang on to Jonathan Kuminga past the trade deadline I might not watch another game this season

Kuminga was apparently available over the summer, and both the Kings and Suns were said to have interest, but nothing got done.
He eventually signed a two-year contract to return to the Warriors as a restricted free agent, but the trade idea hasn't fully gone away.
Now, if it's going to happen this season, it has to happen by Thursday.
No matter what happens, it'll be a bit of a divider among the Golden State fanbase.
