The Minnesota Twins and Joe Ryan have reached a compromise.
The standout righty pitcher was set to go to salary arbitration with the Twins.
Instead, he and the Twins reached a contract agreement on Monday.
According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, it's a guaranteed $6.2 million in the deal for the 2026 season.

That breaks down as $6.1 million in salary and a $100,000 buyout after the season if his $13 million mutual option for 2027 isn't activated.
Ryan has been a trade rumor for a while now, dating back to the 2025 deadline when some believed he was close to moving to the Red Sox.
He made the All-Star Game in 2025, finishing the season with a 3.42 ERA and a 13-10 record.
He has pitched in parts of five seasons for the Twins.

Ryan has a career 3.79 ERA with a 10.1 strikeouts per nine innings ratio.
He also only walks 2.1 batters per nine innings, a great strikeout to walk ratio.
His 1.4 home runs per nine innings is really the one stat that you'd hope to be better for Ryan going forward.
But at least for now, he and the Twins have reached a deal.
They know they head into the season with one of their best players under contract and ready to roll.
