The Los Angeles Rams' season is over, after narrowly losing to the Seattle Seahawks 31-27 in the NFC Championship game, and now attention turns to the offseason.
And more importantly, the future of quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Set to turn 38 years old in a couple of days, Stafford's future is a big topic of conversation. The MVP favorite is contracted for the 2026 season, but whether he has the drive to keep going remains to be seen.
In truth, we don't know what the future holds for Stafford, but a video posted online by his wife, Kelly, might hint that Matthew's priorities might soon shift from football to family.
Coming home at 2:30 am after the loss to the Seahawks, Stafford is seen tucking all of his kids into bed.
After a cruel way to end the season, Stafford, at that time of the morning, made time to be with his kids, even for a brief moment.

Stafford could play on in 2026
He absolutely could. After an MVP-caliber season at 37, Stafford still has the weaponry to play the position at a high level.
Conversely, those moments with his kids are priceless, and yes, football is Matthew's life during the season. Having done it for 17 years, maybe the video Kelly shared is a glimpse into the little things Matthew misses because of football.
Either way, it will be interesting to see how the next couple of months play out for Stafford, with his future the hot topic right now.
But it is clear that maybe, just maybe, family might trump football in 2026.
