Triple H to punish Lyra Valkyria for her actions at WWE Money in the Bank this weekend? Exploring the possibility

Lyra Valkyria's reign as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion ended at 145 days after Becky Lynch defeated her for the first time in their feud. However, things might get worse for Valkyria as she might have to face the wrath of WWE CCO Triple H for her actions at the PLE.

Valkyria seemed close to getting the win till Becky Lynch used her veteran in-ring IQ and reversed Valkyria's move into her own roll-up and got the three-count. The Man officially beat Lyra and became the second-ever Women’s IC Champion.

The drama didn’t end there, as Becky Lynch asked Lyra to raise her hand as per the stipulation. The 28-year-old star was upset, but she still raised Lynch’s hand. Then, the veteran wanted Valkyria to wrap the title around her waist. However, Valkyria snapped and dropped Becky with a German suplex and a Nightwing before leaving the ring.

By attacking Becky Lynch after the match, Lyra seemingly violated the stipulation in place. Triple H is the man behind the creative team, and could impose a fine on Valkyria and write her off television for weeks for putting her hands on her opponent after the bout ended and not fully honoring the agreement.

This potential move would allow the Stamford-based promotion to book a Bayley vs. Becky Lynch match at WWE Evolution or Night of Champions 2025 with the IC Title in the picture. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old star could take time off and return before SummerSlam.

That said, the proposed angle above is speculative and based on the current storyline, which is subject to change at any time, and nothing has been confirmed.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins both had a major night at WWE MITB 2025

Real-life power couple, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, were both in action at the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event and had important matches. The Visionary was in the men’s traditional MITB ladder bout.

Meanwhile, Lynch battled Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. The Man and Visionary had a memorable night as they earned top prizes at the event. Rollins won the MITB briefcase, while Lynch captured the Women’s IC Championship.

It will be interesting to see what plans the creative team has for Becky Lynch as the champion in the coming weeks on the red brand.
