Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride made history during Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The 26-year-old caught his 117th pass of the season, breaking Zach Ertz's previous record of 116, for most receptions by a tight end in a single season.

The Arizona Cardinals celebrated their tight end's historic day with an Instagram post. His girlfriend, Lauren, reshared the news on her own Instagram Story. She added a meme of a dog also celebrating the big moment.

McBride ended Sunday's game with ten receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown, making his season total 119 with one game remaining on the Arizona Cardinals schedule. McBride has a career-high 1,174 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 16 games this season. In 2024, he came just shy of the record with 111 receptions in total.

Ahead of the 2025 NFL season, the 26-year-old signed a four-year contract worth $76 million, including $43 million in guaranteed money. Earlier this week he broke Travis Kelce's record for most consecutive games with five catches, with 16 total games.

Trey McBride's girlfriend, Lauren, recently posted a video recap of an Arizona Cardinals gameday. Her video documented the Cardinals' Week 15 home game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Lauren wore a black denim jacket with red fur lining on the hood that she paired with a red shirt and black denim jeans. She accessorized the gameday look with a small black purse. The couple spent some time together on the sidelines during pregame warmups.

Trey McBride and Lauren Ranson began dating while they were students at Colorado State University. The Arizona Cardinals drafted the tight end in the second-round of the 2022 NFL Draft. McBride was just selected to his second consecutive Pro Bowl.
