Travis Kelce’s ex-GF Kayla Nicole deactivates X account after Taylor Swift fans bring up her past controversial tweets

Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, has been in the spotlight after aiming a dig at the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his fiancée, Taylor Swift. Nicole posted an Instagram video on Halloween, dressing up as Toni Braxton to recreate the iconic "He wasn't man enough" song, while dancing to the lyrics:

"Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend? ... Do you know he begged to stay with me? He wasn't man enough for me."

Nicole faced backlash from fans on social media, and it appears to have struck a nerve with the former ESPN reporter.

On Thursday, Nicole deleted her X account after fans dug up some old racist, homophobic, xenophobic, ableist and colorist tweets she posted.

Many were debating whether Nicole's IG post was throwing shade at Kelce and Swift. However, Shaun Andru, who choreographed the dance in the video, implied on TikTok that the post was a dig toward the couple.

According to reports, Kelce and Nicole had an on-again/off-again relationship for about five years until they parted ways permanently in 2022.

Kelce reportedly began dating Swift in the summer of 2023. The couple announced their engagement in August after two years of dating.

Amid the off-field drama around Travis Kelce, the Chiefs TE will want to help his team get back to winning ways in Week 11 when Kansas City travels to face the Denver Broncos (8-2) on Nov. 16.

The Chiefs (5-4) suffered a 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. They have a BYE in Week 10. The red-hot Broncos,on the other hand, have won seven games in a row.

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, is expected to play an important role for Kansas City against Denver.
