Rapper Tory Lanez's legal team has pointed out 60 alleged errors in Megan Thee Stallion's medical records in their latest document submitted to the court. Lanez was found guilty of shooting Stallion and sentenced to 10 years in prison, although he stuck to his stance of innocence.

In the latest developments of the case, TMZ reports that Tory Lanez's lawyers have submitted an official report to the court detailing 60 errors in Megan Thee Stallion's medical records after the shooting. These were presented during Lanez's trial, overseen by Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, and played a key role in his conviction.

The report was notably signed by a software expert who oversaw Stallion's medical reports after the alleged shooting in 2020. Some of the errors listed in the report include wrongly bagged bullet fragments and fraudulent signatures.

It also notes that there was a missing document titled "evidence", which claimed that a hospital guard named Derek Cervantes wrongly transferred and bagged "foreign bodies" or bullet fragments to the hospital where Megan Thee Stallion was treated after the shooting.

The other errors reportedly include missing or repeated pages, fake signatures, wrong dates, constant time contradictions, overwritten or changed written texts and fake QR codes. Tory Lanez's team also claimed in the report that 300 pages of additional information were not presented in court, and Stallion's surgeon, Dr Little, did not testify in court and hasn't been found.

On December 18, Tory Lanez gave his first interview from prison since he was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in 2020. Speaking to NBC News, Lanez maintained his innocence and indicated that he was wrongfully convicted. He said:

"I've never been violent towards women. I would never hit a woman, let alone shoot a woman. (...) I believe not only that I was wrongfully convicted, but the amount of new evidence that has emerged since that trial, I think, has been overwhelming."

Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence, being held at California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo. His trial took place in 2022, leading to his conviction in August 2023. The rapper has served three years of his sentence. Speaking further about his public perception, he added:

"There is definitely a very big misconception about me that seems to the public as I'm this monster. I feel like I was catapulted into this poster child for the unprotection of Black women, and it's just so unlike me. And I've never really had a chance to express that."

Despite his stance, Tory Lanez mentioned he does not have any hate towards Megan Thee Stallion. Meanwhile, Stallion has always maintained she was shot by Lanez.

"I think that I wouldn't say something directly to her. I would like that moment to happen in person. We've both gone through a lot. There's this connotation that, like I share this hatred for her, but I don't. I'm genuinely past that. I'm at a place of healing in my life. I'm at a place of taking accountability for the things that I did wrong. And when I talk about my case, I don't want it to be taken as me coming for her because it's not that. I'm just asking for somebody in the system to look at my case and look at the evidence and ask if this was fair," he told NBC.

According to Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez shot her in the foot in July 2020, while they were leaving a party from Kylie Jenner's house. Stallion claimed she was accompanied by a friend and Lanez's bodyguard. The two reportedly got into a fight, leading to Lanez shooting Stallion when they got out of the car.

Following the incident, the rapper had to undergo surgery. Megan Thee Stallion also testified that Tory Lanez offered her and her friend hush money of $1 million each to remain quiet about the alleged shooting.

Lanez was charged with assault with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm and negligent discharge of a gun for shooting the victim, and found guilty of all three during the trial.
