Tony Romo's football season is over.
The CBS color commentator, part of the network's No. 1 NFL team with play-by-play guy Jim Nantz, signed off with the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
Now, he's got a chance to reflect on the season he just had.
Some analysts think Romo struggled enough that CBS will have to consider moving him out of the No. 1 spot before they broadcast the Super Bowl in two years.
Romo got a chance to share his side of things Tuesday on The Pat McAfee Show.
"I think it comes with the territory," Romo said. "... You're doing you, and you've gotta be yourself, and you're trying your best. It's not like you're never not trying your hardest to be great at something."

Caught up with the triple negative there? OK, more from Romo.
"The noise is the noise," Romo said. "It's part of being in this job. It's up. It's down. You don't really listen to things... As far as looking at stuff online, it's just part of the process. I don't think it changes things."
McAfee and Romo also dug into the fact that part of Romo's job is being there for what for some teams are their best moments and for others are their worst.
"I root for guys who love the sport and care so deeply and want to win, and those are the guys you root for a little bit, and sometimes that comes across a certain way," Romo said. "But I love it. It's a great job."

When Romo first came on the scene after his playing career ended with the Dallas Cowboys, he was widely praised. Now, it's a mixed bag.
It's something CBS will certainly be keeping an eye on in the years ahead.
