Jets predicted to replace Breece Hall with Super Bowl-bound Seahawks RB

The New York Jets have a lot of holes to fill on their roster this offseason. While quarterback, wide receiver, defensive line, cornerback, and linebacker are major needs, there is another spot that will need addressing.

Breece Hall is a free agent and could very easily leave for a new team this offseason. With the Jets trying to maintain a strong offense for a new quarterback, finding a replacement for Hall is a big issue this offseason for the Jets.

CBS Sports' Zachary Pereles predicts the Jets will replace Hall in an interesting way. He predicts that the Jets' front office will sign Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III after his Super Bowl run in Seattle comes to an end this offseason.

Jets predicted to sign Kenneth Walker away from Seahawks

"New York loses Hall but gets Walker, a tackle-breaking machine who will have ample suitors," Pereles writes.

Pereles also predicted that Hall would sing with the Seahawks, as the Jets and Seahawks make a running back exchange in the offseason in this projection.

It would be an interesting swap, especially since Hall has been much more of a dual-threat back than Walker has in his career.

But, with what Walker has shown the last two games for the Seahawks in the playoffs, it will be hard for the Jets, or any team, to acquire Walker this offseason.

He's put up 116 rushing yards and three touchdowns to go with 29 receiving yards against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round, and then 61 yards, one touchdown, and 49 receiving yards against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship.

This season, Walker also put up solid numbers despite being in a split backfield with Zach Charbonnet. He had 1,027 yards rushing, with five touchdowns, and 282 receiving yards in his best season in the NFL so far.

There's no more interesting running back than Walker this offseason. His highlight-reel ability is as good as anyone in the NFL, and he's shown he can be a workhorse over the last few weeks.

The 25-year-old running back would be a very fun pickup for the Jets this offseason, especially if they lose Hall in free agency. Jets fans should keep a close eye on Walker in the Super Bowl, as he could wind up being their running back of the future.
