Skipper of the Nebraska Volleyball team, Bergen Reilly, recently talked about the upcoming Halloween showdown. The Nebraska Volleyball team will be competing against the Wisconsin Badgers for the first time this season on Halloween, i.e., October 31.

In a media conference organized by Hail Varsity, the 20-year-old setter opened up about the upcoming clash and what it meant for both teams. Reilly revealed that both teams are hungry for some real competition.

Bergen Reilly further stated that this will be just another competitive match for both teams. In her words,

"I mean it's always a fun week, I think. I mean just the way the season has been going for both of us. We're both really excited and we're hungry to play just some fun competition. And not that there hasn't been other competition, but that this is just a rivalry match. We all know that that comes with it, and it'll be a fun one, just Halloween Halloween and it's gonna be good, it's gonna be challenging for us and we're excited to get that challenge." The Nebraska Volleyball team will aim to extend its winning streak against the Wisconsin Badgers. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had previously defeated the Badgers in all three games they played against them last year.

Bergen Reilly previously talked about the golden advice offered by head coach Dani Busboom Kelly on handling pressure. In her conversation with Hail Varsity on September 7, the 20-year-old setter revealed how Kelly asked the team to enjoy what they did as she remarked,

"We always are gonna have a target on our back being Nebraska in general but especially right now we're No. 1 and Dani just really makes an emphasis of take it all in, smell the roses like enjoy what we're doing and enjoy that you're even in this position. So, after the Kentucky game, she asked us, she said like was that a relief that you guys won or were we excited that we won and she's like I don't want it to be a relief that we win, it should be super exciting that we just had a huge win or reverse sweep against a really great team."

In early October this season, Bergen Reilly became the fifth-highest scorer for Nebraska Volleyball in terms of career assists in the rally scoring era. Interestingly, Reilly surpassed the record of her own coach, Dani Busboom Kelly, to achieve this.
