In Pokemon Legends Z-A, Litleo and its evolution Pyroar, are among the many returning creatures from the original Pokemon X & Y release. This line of Pokemon is inspired by real-life lions and are Fire-types, making them a decent early pick to add to players' roster, especially since Pyroar gets an all-new Mega Evolution.

This guide explains all there is to know about the Liltleo line in Pokemon Legends Z-A. Read on to know more.

Litleo is a Normal/Fire-type and can be found in Wild Zone 3 alongside other creatures in the area such as Pikachu, Skiddo, and Espurr. Additionally, an Alpha Litleo can be found inside the building near the center of the Wild Zone. It is level 24, however, so players should ensure their team is up to the task for taking it down.

How to get Pyroar in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Also a Normal/Fire-type Pokemon, Pyroar evolves from Litleo at level 35. This can be achieved by raising the Litleo via normal combat progression or feeding it EXP Candies. Alternatively, a pride of Pyroar can be found in Wild Zone 17, including a level 56 Alpha, which makes this zone one of the toughest in the game to navigate.

Interestingly, Pyroar is one of the few Pokemon to have design variations between the male and female versions of the critter. The former has a large mane around its face and a stocky body, while the latter has a long, sleek body-length head fur in addition to a slimmer build, which distinguishes the two from one another.

Furthermore, Pyroar gets a new Mega Evolution for this game, and can be used by allowing the Pokemon to hold a Pyroarite. This item can be purchased for 240 Mega Shards from the Quasartico Inc. headquarters after finishing Main Mission 35.
