Islam Makhachev’s coach, Javier Mendez, shared further details on what led to the huge brawl at UFC 322.
One of the major talking points from last night’s event was the brawl that started before the UFC 322 main card.
Dillon Danis and Islam Makhachev’s teams were involved in the scrap. Danis got attacked by Magomed Zaynukov, which attracted a lot of attention.
Mendez was on Submission Radio discussing Makhachev’s incredible win at UFC 322, where the Russian became the new welterweight champion.

Mendez was asked about Danis, and the coach shared that he had heard about Dana White’s comments about Danis not sitting in his seats.
He then shared further details of what Danis was up to, which included showing some questionable videos:
“Come on, dude, you know you are asking for trouble, and then they showed me the videos of what he was showing. Showing Ali [Abdelaziz] and Islam in a relationship type of brace and then he was doing things with a p***star, and Islam embracing, and then he is talking crap on other things."Mendez went on to bring Logan Paul’s highly publicised rivalry with Danis into the limelight. Danis made several terrible remarks on Paul’s Nina Adgal, with the model taking action against Danis.
“I mean, what do you expect when you do that…when Logan Paul’s girlfriend went after him and rightfully so. He was making her look like something she wasn’t so, she sued his a**. You gotta stop that stuff, stop picking on people’s religion. That’s what he was doing, he was making fun of it.”Check out Javier Mendez’s thoughts on the Dillon Danis brawl from 20:10:
Dana White bans Dillon Danis from UFC events
UFC president Dana White shouldered some of the blame for the UFC 322 brawl. He was speaking to the media after UFC 322 and confirmed that Dillon Danis was banned from future events.
“You will never see Dillon Danis at the UFC fight again... You will never see him in another fight.”However, White decided not to press charges over the incident. The UFC president claimed that this was the fight game and did not want Danis arrested.
“They called me downstairs and they said ‘We got him, do you want to press charges and have him arrested?’ And I said ‘No, I don’t want to press charges.’ This is the fight business man, you know how I feel about this sh**. I could have prevented this tonight and I messed up.”Why did you not like this content?
