The Rock has opened up on facing a heartbreaking regret. The Great One remains one of the most recognizable WWE stars and is now also an established name in Hollywood.

From the heights of pro wrestling to Hollywood glamour, he has seen it all. With a career as distinguished as his, it is hard to imagine him having any regrets on a professional front. However, the story is different when it comes to his personal life.

During a conversation on Artist Friendly with Joel Madden, the Brahma Bull talked about the passing of his father, Rocky Johnson. The Rock said he wished he had reconciled with his father before his death, like Joel did. He mentioned that he had a fight with him, and they didn't talk until he passed away.

"I wish I had what you had with your dad and you reconciled. So we got into this huge fight, Christmas 2019. It was awful. One of the biggest fights we ever got into, about just some stupid and then about a month later he passed away, and we weren't talking," he said.

Rocky Johnson, who was also a WWE star, passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 75. The People's Champion has often talked about how he had a complicated relationship with his late father.

The Rock got emotional over a gift honoring his father's memory

Earlier this year, The Rock took to social media to post a heartwarming video. The video featured him receiving a ticket for an old wrestling show that he attended to see his father, Rocky Johnson.

He said he was 11 years old at that time and said it was one of the most meaningful gifts he received.

The Final Boss got emotional as he said he wished he had one more shot to say goodbye to his old man.
